The swimming pool and zoo are located in the same place in the alpine village of Les Marécottes and are easily accessible by train and car (free parking). The zoo, the highest in Europe, is home to bears, lynxes, foxes, deer, and marmots living in their natural habitat.

The Marécottes swimming pool is a small natural lake 70 meters long, heated by solar energy, surrounded by greenery between two rocks, and meets the strict hygiene standards for public swimming pools.
